Anti-slavery Policy Statement

STATEMENT ON MODERN SLAVERY AND HUMAN TRAFFICKING

Advance Services has a zero-tolerance approach to slavery and is committed to preventing acts of slavery and human trafficking from occurring within both its business and supply chain and imposes those same high standards on its contractors, suppliers and other business partners.

ORGANISATIONAL STRUCTURE

 

Advance Services is an IT Asset Disposition (ITAD) Service provider for SME, and large enterprises. As such we have an extensive supply chain and we procure and sell a large number of goods/services every year. The nature of our business means we work a wide range of different suppliers, subcontractors and partners each of which will have their subcontractors, affiliates and associate entities. Therefore it is necessary for us to have a comprehensive due diligence process when determining whether to introduce a new associate entity into our supply chain.

DUE DILIGENCE PROCESSES

We are committed to:

 

  • Ensuring our suppliers have a suitable anti-slavery policy in place and necessary risk-mitigating processes to ensure slavery and human trafficking doesn’t enter their supply-chain. In-turn we expect our suppliers to express the same due diligence. with respect to their own suppliers, partners and associated entities

​

  • Operating strict procurement processes, ensuring suppliers comply with all applicable laws and standards, including those which relate to the Modern Slavery Act.

​

  • Providing regular training in respect of the Modern Slavery Act to all employees and staff members.

​

  • Ensuring Advance Services’ goods or service providers follow the advice and guidance concerning the Modern Slavery Act 2015.

​

  • Adding Modern Slavery Act to the agenda of our management review meetings with suppliers enabling us to be kept informed of any changes.

​

  • Encouraging staff to identify and report any potential breaches of Advance Services anti-slavery policy statement.

​

  • Making sure whistleblowers are protected through our confidential reporting process.

 


The Above procedures are designed to:

​

  • Identify and assess potential risk areas in our business and supply chains

  • Reduce the risk of slavery and human trafficking occurring in our business and supply chains.

  • Monitor potential risk areas in our business and supply chains.

  • Provide adequate protection for whistleblowers.


This statement is made pursuant to section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and constitutes Advance Services & Solutions Limited human trafficking statement for the financial year ending March 2023.
